1969 CItroen/Panhard MEP. A single seater race trainer designed by Maurice Emile Pezous (MEP) an aero nautical engineer and citroen dealer. His aim was to build a relatively cheap starter race car for people without deep pockets. The car is constructed from Citreon parts and an air cooled twin Panhard Tigre engine (Citroen owned). Originally supplied to a Belgium race school it eventually found it's way to the UK.This car is believed to be the only one in the UK and has competed in track events and hill climbs. Approximately 55 were built. Recently aquired  for re-commissioning and restoration. Well designed chassis with superbly engineered Panhard Tigre engine and capable of speeds of 150 Km's per hour. Not bad for 850 cc! Today in France there is a series for these MEP's known as Formule Bleue. This car is eligible for historic singe seater racing and would compete with the likes of Lotus which are somewhat pricey these days. Asking Price:  £ 9,950.00
